In Term 2 this year we're taking a break from regular Growth Groups to equip ourselves to reach out to others with the gospel and to encourage one another in our faith. It's a wonderful opportunity to mix with others outside our Growth Group and grow in our ability to live out our faith.
Note: the courses only run for 6 weeks (commencing week of 13th May, through to week of 17th June). As such there's a chance for your Growth Group to get together at the beginning and end of term.
Online Registration and more information about Night Train can be found here

Have you ever noticed that so many big words in the Bible end in the sound ’shawn'. Crea-SHAWN (creation), Salva-SHAWN (salvation), Redemp-SHAWN (redemption) and so on. Well here at Panania Paddocks Farm we have a problem! Our resident sheep, Shawn, thinks the Bible is all about him. Whenever he hears the Bible read he keeps hearing his name - Shawn.
This year at Kids Club, as we welcome our 2018 trainee farmers to Panania Paddocks we’re correcting Shawn’s misunderstanding. We’ll discover the simple meaning of some these Big Words that end in Shawn and how they describe what God has done for us through Jesus. Along the way there will be lots of fun playing farm-themed games, making craft, singing, sharing morning tea together, and much more. Don’t miss out.
When: 9.00-12.15pm, Wed 11th - Fri 13th July
Where: Panania Anglican Church, 4-6 Lambeth St, Panania

Our AGM is a vital time in the life of our Church. We review our Ministries from the last twelve months, look forward to what we will be doing as God's people over the next year and also have the opportunity to elect office bearers to our Parish Council for the next 12 months. This group of representatives is responsible for ensuring that we are 'above reproach' in the financial and legal operation of our Church, which Scriptures set as a high priority. Parish Council also assists our Senior Minister implement the Ministries and programmes which will enhance our growth as God's people and help us reach out into our community with the saving Gospel of Jesus. This is therefore an important meeting for all members of all congregations. It usually runs for a little over an hour, and Baptised members over 18 yrs of age, who are regular attenders can participate.
Our week end away is nearly upon us - those who are attending are invited to arrive at the Campsite from 6:30 pm on Friday 2nd March. Today is the Launch of our Church year. Kids' Church re-commences, and our other regular activities and programs will launch during the week. We also encourage each member to consider how they might serve our Church family by signing up for the many service opportunities at each Service. Church members will also have the opportunity to link in with a Growth Group where relationships will be enhanced and less formal learning and caring opportunities take place. Our 'BIG PICTURE' vision for the year will be promoted at each service, so together we can be on-board for another year of growing in our love for Jesus and the people of the community in which he has placed us. Come and be an active part of our Panania Church community!
This now popular event, comprises a high quality Orchestral musical programme under the Baton of Mark Rossman. After a short intermission, we then enjoy the Christmas story told through short Bible Readings interspersed with popular and some less well known Carols. Come and have your auditory senses tantilized as we celebrate Christmas in this more traditional way. All welcome. Enjoy a relaxed festive supper at the conclusion.
Our whole Church Family will meet together for a Combined Service of Thanksgiving to acknowledge God's goodness to us in so many may - not least of which, in sending his Son to bring us life.
After the Service we will share in a picnic-style lunch together in the Church grounds. We invite each family to bring something to share, to make this a festive occasion, as we enjoy a time of fellowship as one family.
In Term 3, we will be offering Training Modules in place of our regular weekly, evening Growth Groups. You will be able to sign up for either 2 four-week Modules or an eight week Reading Group. You will be able to sign up for Modules at Church from Sunday 9th July. To check out the Modules on offer, download a copy of the Courses here.
